Born and raised in downtown Chicago, I have always been drawn to beautifully designed & constructed buildings. As a child, my parents often took my sister and me on the Frank Lloyd Wright tours in Oak Park and on visits to the Art Institute of Chicago, the MCA Chicago, and various art galleries though out the city. These early visits provided me with a lifelong love of art and design. Even at a young age, I knew that the architectural/art/design world was where I was meant to be.
Spending my high school and college years in Boston, I began to learn about the diverse architecture throughout the East Coast. After earning a degree in Art History, I began to travel internationally, and my love of architecture and design grew into a lifelong passion.
I worked for Leslie Hindman Auctioneers for 8 years which furthered my passion for design and antiques. Working on the business management side of the interior design business allowed me to combine my love of organization with beautiful design.
Living in London with my husband, I was able to raise my beautiful daughter and enjoy the probity of international pillars of great design. Finding myself wanting to re-engage in the working world, I took the opportunity to work with Christopher Peacock Cabinetry as their operations and showroom manager. Combining my highly honed organizational skills and business management tools, it was a wonderful opportunity to learn the inner workings of high-end cabinetry design.
After relocating to the North Shore of Chicago with my family, the opportunity arose to work for A Perry Homes. My role as Operations Coordinator consists of ensuring that each client enjoys the most organized and well-thought-out accounting process and world-class client experience. And of course, I also ensure that our beautiful offices are always in welcoming conditions.
I currently live in Winnetka with my wonderful daughter, as well as our sweet dogs Rosie and Dizzy. When I am not enjoying all that the North Shore has to offer like the lake, beaches, or biking in the forest preserves, you can find me in a yoga class, outdoor dining, researching a great travel adventure, or at any art museum or gallery with my family always by my side.
